Free plan, refunds, cancellations, BYOK, devices and payment — all answered below.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. The free plan is permanent and includes Dynamic Templates, Snippets, the Magical AI rewriter, clipboard history and 200 AI credits a month. No credit card required, no trial expiry. You only upgrade when you need unlimited AI credits or BYOK.
- What's the difference between Monthly and Yearly?
- Monthly is $5/month, billed monthly, cancel any time. Yearly is $54/year — you save about 10% versus paying monthly. Both unlock unlimited AI credits, Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) and up to 3 devices on the same user.
- What is BYOK and which plans include it?
- BYOK = Bring Your Own Key. You plug in your own OpenAI / Gemini / Claude API key and AI rewrites run through your account instead of ours. Included on Monthly and Yearly. The free plan uses the included 200 monthly AI credits.
- How many devices can I use Slashit on?
- Monthly and Yearly cover 3 devices on the same user — pair your Mac and Windows machines and keep one spare. The free plan works on one user across as many devices as you like with the included credits.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. Monthly and Yearly subscriptions can be cancelled from your account at any time — you keep access until the end of the current billing period and you're never charged again.
- Do you offer refunds?
- Yes — subscriptions are refundable within 7 days of purchase if you haven't used your AI credits. If you hit a real issue beyond that window, ping us in Discord; we'd rather fix it than keep your money.
- Will my price go up at renewal?
- No. Monthly and Yearly prices are locked at the rate you sign up at — we don't raise prices on existing customers. If a future plan launches at a higher price, your renewal still uses the original rate.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx), Apple Pay and Google Pay through our LemonSqueezy checkout. For larger purchases or invoicing, email [email protected] and we'll set it up directly.
